Explore every organ, part by part
Open the heart, brain, eye, ear, lungs and other organs on their own in Anatomy Atlas 3D and study each part, with detailed models of the eye, inner ear and brain ventricles.
Inside the full body, organs are hard to study: they're surrounded, overlapped and partly hidden. The organ explorer takes one out and puts it centre stage.

Organs you can explore
- Heart
- Brain and the brain ventricles
- Eye
- Ear (with the inner and middle ear)
- Larynx
- Lungs, lobe by lobe
- Stomach and intestines
- Liver and pancreas
- Kidneys and bladder
- Endocrine glands
The eye, the inner and middle ear, the brain ventricles and the lung lobes come as detailed models.
How it works
Tap the cube at the top of the screen and choose an organ. Everything else disappears, the camera frames the organ, and its parts appear as chips at the bottom of the screen. Tap a part to highlight it and read its name and definition. Combine it with cross sections to see inside.
Frequently asked questions
Can I see the chambers of the heart?
Yes. Open the heart in the organ explorer, select its parts, and use a cross section to look inside.
Are the organs connected to the rest of the body?
In the full view, yes: organs sit in place with the vessels and nerves around them. The explorer isolates one organ to study it on its own.
